The team at American Furniture Warehouse prides itself on knowing and understanding our customers. We recognize that creating an interior that is uniquely you can be exciting and overwhelming all at the same time. We will work patiently to ensure that every decision made is one that you are not only completely comfortable with, but thrilled with.

How does AFW's interior design process work?

AFW has designated sales people that have interior design degrees, or have been working in the furniture industry for an extended period of time and are extremely talented. These individuals can help you by assessing your goals and personal tastes and helping you to select the ideal look for your home. By browsing one of American Furniture Warehouse's twelve Colorado showrooms with a member of this design team, you will have access to the largest selection and latest styles in home furnishings and accessories throughout the state. Once your American Furniture Warehouse Design Consultant identifies the merchandise that interests you, they will then generate a design plan that works within your budget.

For smaller projects, your consultant may ask for your room measurements and complete a floor plan while you are at the store on your first appointment. For larger projects with multiple rooms, your Design Consultant may schedule a visit to your home if it appears necessary. It is this visit to your home that allows the Design Consultant to see your space and take measurements of the rooms you plan to furnish, all in an effort to ensure that the selected pieces will work perfectly with your floor plan. Evaluation of your color scheme and the character of your home, along with the input you have provided, your Design Consult will create a custom Design Plan for your home.

A follow-up appointment will be set at American Furniture Warehouse showroom. Your Design Consultant will then present you with the Design Plan. This Design Plan will outline recommendations of furniture selections, as well as accessories and occasional pieces.

Like any design process you can expect your Design Consultant to work differently depending on the situation and circumstances. However, you can expect professional and educated advice that will help you make your home more beautiful than you ever thought possible!
